Software and Topic Short Course Registration Now Open

SDS is excited to announce the Spring 2016 software and topic short courses. We will be offering software courses in R, Python, Matlab, Stata, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access. These 3-hour, hands-on workshops are perfect for those who want an introduction to a new statistical software or more experience with advanced features in software they already use.

Due to their popularity last semester, we will also be offering three Topics in Statistics courses taught by the statistical consulting staff. Instead of being focused on a particular software, these courses cover a specific content area. This semester’s topics include descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and mixed models.

Registration is now open and available for any UT Austin students, faculty, or staff for $25 per course. Click here to see the full schedule and to register for a course.

If your department or group would benefit from a course tailored to your specific data analysis or software needs, check out our custom short courses.
