Su Chen

Su Chen joined The University of Texas at Austin in 2024 as an Associate Professor of Instruction. Previously, she was an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Center for Transforming Data to Knowledge (D2K Lab) and former Director of the Data Science Minor Program at Rice University. She has extensive experience developing and teaching courses that highlight experiential learning in Statistics and Data Science. She is passionate about curriculum design and pedagogical innovation, and is determined to help students succeed.
