45th Annual Conference of Texas Statisticians (COTS) - Day One

We are excited to announce that abstract submission and registration are now open for the 45th Annual Conference of Texas Statisticians (COTS). The conference will take place on April 10–11, 2026, at the University of Texas at Austin in the Peter J. O’Donnell Building. This year's conference will focus on the theme "Statistics in a Rapidly Changing World." 

To attend this event, please register on the COTS 2026 website by March 15, 2026. If you are interested in presenting a poster or giving a contributed oral presentation, please also visit the website to submit your title and abstract.

The conference will kick off on Friday afternoon, April 10th, featuring numerous invited and contributed oral presentations, followed by the poster presentation. The evening will culminate with the Conference Dinner and the awards presentation.

COTS provides an invaluable opportunity for social and intellectual exchange among Texas statisticians. Senior and junior researchers, as well as students, present their work through talks and posters, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative community. These meetings have strengthened chapter membership, increased the visibility of the statistical profession across Texas, and celebrated excellence through the annual Don Owen Award, recognizing outstanding contributions to research, statistical consultation, and service.
