Requirements
The minor requires 15 semester hours of coursework with a grade of at least a C- in each course.
No transfer credits, credit-by-exam, or CR courses may be used to fulfill minor course requirements unless otherwise stated below. At least nine of the hours used towards the minor cannot also satisfy major degree requirements. The following courses are required:

C S 303E Elements of Computers and Programming or CS 312 Introduction to Programming/CS 312H Introduction to Programming: Honors or CS 314 Data Structures (CS majors only)
Note: transfer credit for CS 312 that comes with a letter grade of C- or better may be used to fulfill this requirement.
