Camry Isaac is leaving SDS to join College Houses, Inc. for her senior year after the conclusion of the Summer Statistics Institute. Camry has spent the last 2 years with SDS masterfully coordinating the Summer Statistics Institute. We look forward to hearing about all of her future success!
What are your plans for next semester? Next semester I'm very excited to be interning with the administrative staff, specifically finance and membership affairs, at College Houses, Inc. I’ll also be starting my senior year and gearing up to graduate.
What is your favorite Stat Cat memory? My favorite Stat Cat Memory is when I first joined the SDS Department and I was introduced to Stat Cat and then received the honorary water bottle.
What's your takeaway after working in the department and running the Summer Statistics Institute? I loved being in this department it has taught me so much. My biggest takeaway is that I now have more confidence in my abilities than ever before.
What advice would you give the next student assistant running SSI? Plan out your year as early as possible and stay on top of it, even the small things. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions and get suggestions or help if you ever feel it’s needed.
What will you miss the most about the SDS Department & staff? I will miss ALL of the food and desserts almost every week that come in handy when I forget to feed myself, and I will miss all of the funny cat memes. The staff is very welcoming, understanding, and helpful! It made my internship one of my greatest experiences here at UT.
What is your favorite thing in the world? My favorite thing in the world is spending time with my family. I’m a huge family person so doing anything with them and our dogs is my favorite.
