The Department of Statistics and Data Sciences provides pre- and post-award support to all SDS faculty with primary appointments in the department. Staff assist grant applicants and Principal Investigators by:
- Acting as a liaison with all offices under the Office of the Vice President for Research, such as the Office of Sponsored Projects.
- Providing guidance regarding the proposal submission process and the overall life-cycle award.
- Monitoring award accounts and ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions.
- Preparing reports on the amount of time Principal Investigators and other employees have dedicated to award projects.
